Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Thanks for the documentation link. I just downloaded the latest version off of the link above last night with no avail. I still needed to DISABLE the entire protection for the end, but this is because I am not clear on every piece of the config for each world and what does what yet. By disabling GP for the whole world, everything is working, just not protected (which may not be a bad thing for now).
I really would like to know which pieces control spawning so that I can protect the world without affecting spawning. Additionally, I have noticed that while the protection was on (and affecting spawning), killing the EnderDragon did NOT release any XP when the kill was made, so this appears to affect quite a lot in the way mobs are dealt with when protection is on.

With the two different branches of documentation, it helps if you include which build of GP you need help with.
For the officially released builds, read the section called "Restriction Where Claims May Be Created" for information about restricting world permissions.
The development builds have their own documentation which I'm not as familiar with. The link is below.
Official Builds Documentation: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/grief-prevention/pages/administrative-topics/
Dev Builds Documentation (Not applicable to 8.0+): http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/grief-prevention/pages/7-8-and-later-grief-prevention-configuration/
@bigscary , correct me if I'm wrong about the dev documentation not being applicable to the new 8.0 development branch.

Posted Sep 18, 2014GriefPrevention is not allowing Endermen to spawn in "The End". I have gone through my configs and don't see anything that should prevent this. If I remove the GriefPrevention.jar and restart the server, everything is fine.
Is there a way to completely remove protection for the END, Nether, etc. but keep it in the overworld?

Posted Sep 18, 2014I updated, and now for many players it is listing that they have negative claim blocks. I am not sure I updated right. There is no clear description on how to update. All I can find is that I need to customize my config, which I did.

Posted Sep 18, 2014Hey everybody, I could really use some help, if you have an hour or two to spare. :) I believe in "eating my own dogfood", which means I always run public servers with my plugins to make sure I understand how players use them and how they feel from an administrative standpoint. Many of the features and bug fixes over the years were inspired by my personal experiences using my plugins.
However, an empty public test server doesn't do me any good. I've just opened a new one called BeardCraft (bity.ly/beardcraft), and I'm trying to attract new players. I know you all have servers of your own to take care of so you can't stay long. But I'm asking you to take an hour or two and build something on BeardCraft. :) When new players join, they'll be more likely to stay if they see evidence of other players investing in the server. Thanks for your help!

You need to install a Grief Prevention which is compat with Minecraft 1.6.4. For that, you have to find out which CraftBukkit was for Minecraft 1.6.4 and download whichever GP file was last released for that CraftBukkit version.
As for how to install Bukkit plugins on a B Team server, this isn't the place to ask. This site is for CraftBukkit plugins developed for CraftBukkit servers. If you wanna cross the streams, go for it - but don't complain here when a Nintendo game doesn't work in your Sega.

Is this not a drag and drop in the mod folder like before? I don't need to configure it? The B team is ran on the tekkit platform. It's odd because it worked before they changed the server from 1.0.9 to whatever it is now which is 1.0.12a which I didn't think mattered because my game is still 1.6.4. Thanks for the info anyway may just forget about weeks of trying don't want to keep hitting dead ends.

No need to double post the same question within a timeframe of a few minutes.
For craftbukkit versions for 1.6.x GP users had the option of using development builds released after Apr 05, 2013 (1) or using version 7.7 of GP.
Version 7.7 does not work with all the new features introduced in 1.6.x, but it is a stable release. The development builds are all mostly very experimental but provide some support for newer features.
Unfortunately, I do not remember which version I was using as I continued to update GP gradually with dev builds through 1.6 and 1.7.
As for the modification support. I believe the documentation covers how GP works with such things as Tekkit. I'm not familiar with "B Team" only know that it is tekkitish.
Mod Support Documentation: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/grief-prevention/pages/administrative-topics/
I hope somebody can provide a specific build number for you.
Old Development Builds and Documentation for them:
http://build.yu8.me:8080/job/GriefPrevention/
http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/grief-prevention/pages/7-8-and-later-grief-prevention-configuration/
(1) Apr 05, 2013 is when 7.7 was released. I assume versions after that date will contain 1.6.x versions for a time.

Posted Sep 18, 2014I found that Flags is not working with the new GP 8.0, so if you plan to migrate and have Flags installed, you'll probably want to wait for an updated Flags. I had to revert my server back to GP 7.7 from my backup.

All the major bugs were fixed by undoing all the changes made while I was away from the project. That rollback is not reflected in the changelogs. The latest version is "amazeballs".
