Give Anything Listener
Introduction
| This is a plugin that works with Votifier 1.8 or higher, and as such should be placed inside the plugins folder NOT the listeners one. | |
| This plugin listens to voting events passed from Votifier and allows you to reward players with anything when they vote for your server. | |
| If you can type it as a command you can use it to in this plugin! | |
| The Plugin works like a lot of the other listeners, but gives the user a detailed Configuration, on how to setup the broadcast message, and the colour / control codes they can use, Like {BOLD} etc... | |
| This Plugin REQUIRES Votifier 1.8 or above! | |
| When installing you must place the GAListener.jar into your /plugins folder. | |
| It will then create a config.yml inside of the folder which you can edit to your liking! |

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
You can disable the stat collection via /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml if you wish.

Posted Mar 3, 2014Great plugin and I used to use it, but now whenever I vote (using any site, even testing votifier sites) I get an error in the console saying that it received a vote, ignoring because no name was received. I know I'm putting in the names right. but it's still not working. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's one of my favorite plugins but it just won't work.

Posted Mar 1, 2014Hello, Every time I vote for my server it broadcasts the message and I get $1000. If a default user votes, it doesn't give them there reward and doesn't broadcast it. I am thinking this is a permissions issue. If there are permissions, can you please send them to me? If not, can you please tell me what the issue is? Thanks, Mac

Posted Feb 24, 2014Hi, i am trying to use this plugin, i believe i set it up right but it's not working im trying to use it with redeemMcmmo which is a plugin that gives players credits that they can then redeem and get levels in any mcmmo level, so i tried to set it up with the command the plugin uses /addcredit [player] [amount] this is what i entered in the file services: default: broadcast: '{GREEN}{username} {GOLD}has voted @ {GREEN}{service} {GOLD}and received {GREEN}15 Mcmmo Credits do /redeem to use them!' playermessage: '{GREEN}Thanks for voting at {AQUA}{service}!' commands: - '/addcredits {username} 15' but when someone votes the message will display but they wont recieve the credits

Posted Feb 23, 2014I am having a lot of problems with my voting. I have the newest version of votifier being 1.9 along with GAListener. I have set up the config for GAListener and I am pretty sure nothing is wrong and every time some one votes there is not broadcast and the player is not rewarded anything. Please help!

You can do that. Say you wanted to give a name to the diamonds from the example in the configuration, you could add name:Voted_Diamond

Posted Feb 21, 2014Hi there I am using GAlistener Ver 0.9 with Votifier Ver 1.9
On starting the server I see both enable and start properly with no faults or errors showing,
When a player votes on Planet Minecraft (PMC) I see the vote arrive in console ok, with the report 22.02 00:44:44 [Server] INFO Received vote record -> Vote (from:PlanetMinecraft.com username:Walkerbite2013 address:209.203.216.83 timeStamp:1393029884)
but it does not give the player who voted items set out in config (server credits and xp)
In the config for GAlistener i have the following set for a service
services: PMC: broadcast: '{GREEN}{username} {GOLD}has voted @ {GREEN}{www.planetminecraft.com} {GOLD}and received {GREEN}$1000!' playermessage: '{GREEN}Thanks for voting at {AQUA}{service}!' commands: - '/fe grant {username} 1000'
In PMC when I test the votifier link it reports it has connected ok, and if I send a fake vote I get the rewards.
Can anyone help me out with this problem, this really is the last problem I need to resolve with this new bungee cord server setup, and I really want this functionality aspect of the server to work.
