Give Anything Listener
Introduction
| This is a plugin that works with Votifier 1.8 or higher, and as such should be placed inside the plugins folder NOT the listeners one. | |
| This plugin listens to voting events passed from Votifier and allows you to reward players with anything when they vote for your server. | |
| If you can type it as a command you can use it to in this plugin! | |
| The Plugin works like a lot of the other listeners, but gives the user a detailed Configuration, on how to setup the broadcast message, and the colour / control codes they can use, Like {BOLD} etc... | |
| This Plugin REQUIRES Votifier 1.8 or above! | |
| When installing you must place the GAListener.jar into your /plugins folder. | |
| It will then create a config.yml inside of the folder which you can edit to your liking! |

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
You can disable the stat collection via /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml if you wish.

Posted May 15, 2014Hey, Well this Vote listener is great have accurate voting system but I have a problem on it. I already edited the config that it should only give iron and not diamond but it turns out that this plugin still give the diamond but it lesser the value. Before when I didn't edit it it gives 5 diamond, after I edit the config it now gives 1 iron like I wanted but still give 1 diamond. Please I need help ASAP!

The issue could be the commands that GAL is running.
If you're running a command such as a certain plugin that gives tokens and it's not coded properly it could cause issues since the command is being run every-vote. GALIstener runs fine for me and hundreds of others, check what commands your config is running and look at the corresponding plugins.

Posted May 13, 2014Hello, for some reason there is a lot of lag on my server every time there is a vote. It seems to be down to the database size - However extremely laggy (amplified) in this case. Also is there a way for adding a cumulative reward of a permission node but it gets taken away when the month ends (or even on a daily basis to keep players voting)
I came here to request this also.
Also another feature request, it might be useful for server owners to see what websites thier players are voting on. Is there is there a way to create another table in the database that tracks how many votes came from a particular service.
and maybe attach a command of /gal topsites
I love this plugin it is the best vote listener out there.

Posted May 8, 2014Is there a way to automatically reset all the votes each month? so players can restart at 0 each month for the cumulative? Also is there a way for adding a cumulative reward of a permission node but it gets taken away when the month ends.
A manual idea? If there is no possible solution what file/part of a file would i delete on a monthly basisto do this?

Posted May 1, 2014The version I was using before updating today was 10 MB in size. The latest version which I just updated to is 6x the size. Weighing in at 60 MB or 65,629 bytes.
