Regardless of any way you manage to pull it off, I'll be a happy user of your plugins!

A fine idea, but if I was to do that, I think I would put it in a new plugin, I am not a great fan of do-it-all plugins, but i'll consider doing a new plugin, GB.Milestones ;)

I have a suggestion!
Could you perhaps take into consideration introducing milestone rewards that can perform a certain command once reached?
For example,
Mine 500 stone and it will perform <this> command.
I wish to implement a fairly simplistic ranking system, that's accomplish able with everyday minecraft tasks; thus I ask this of you!
Perhaps even combine multiple milestones,
"Mine 500 stone and Excavate 500 dirt and it will run <this> command"

Config looks fine, should pauout for stone every block mined, regardless of enablePayoutInterval.
It must be something with the Vault/BOSE link that doesn't work, the plugin uses the standard payment functions in Vault, and it links with iConomy as expected. (I haven't tried any other economy systems)
I'm not going to be able to test BOSE myself before sunday at the earliest, so all I can recommend is making sure you are running the latest Vault and BOSE.

Depends, if you have enabled config.enablePayoutInterval then it will only pay out after the number of actions specified in the config. (the payoutinterval)
If not, it pays out after every action you have defined.

Hi FlyveHest !
Deinstalled Register (now Gold2Money is broken :P) but anyways, i need your plugin not GOld2Money.
but same "error". I get more money via /gbr income but not if i check my econ money.
how does the "transfere" work ? instant ?

I don't think you need register after you installed Vault, as far as I know, they do the same, and Vault seems like a more mature and supporter plugin than Register. (Just checked Register to see if I should extend GB.Rewarder to use that, but the plugin page is pretty sloppy, so I'll just keep to using Vault for the economics)

As explained on the installation page, you need the Vault plugin to handle the economy part of this plugin.
BOSeconomy plugs nicely into Vault (at least according to their page, I run iConomy myself), so installing that should make it work as intended.

Posted Feb 5, 2012Hey, fantastic plugin. Looking forward to experiment around with this. Looks like a lot of fun.
Was reading through the comments, and I really like the idea of adding XP to the list of possible rewards. Of the two methods, XanderCrew01's and NeoScooch's, I feel like XanderCrew01's would work better for the kind of gameplay I'm looking for. Though NeoScooch's seems pretty versatile too, so frankly, both methods would be great. They seem equally configurable, and neither seems incredibly hard to implement.
Thanks a bunch, exciting plugin!

Posted Feb 5, 2012I am happy to already read that XP Rewards will be added to this plugin. May I suggest to avoid the % XP Reward method and maybe utilize another method that can make the plugin more configurable. Instead of having a %5 chance to earn 1 XP per block have it so we can configure it to be 1 XP per 50 blocks or 30 blocks or 100 blocks, or even 2 XP per 50, 30 or 100 blocks. This way we can decide how many blocks we want a user to break and how many XP they will be rewarded for doing so. I think this would work well. Also it would be great if we could reward both xp and money not just one or the other. Maybe hook through Register to make it compatible with the most popular economy plugins.

Makes sense, and its a good idea that falls well within the definition "rewarding" your players, i'll add it to the todo list.

Yeah 1 xp is too much, thats why a configurable % that a block would even drop xp would be great. So for dirt you could have it only drop 1 xp 5% of the time, and for diamonds you could have it drop 10 xp 100% of the time if you wanted. I have considered using an xpshop plugin, but I dont want to make things too easy for my users, and an xp shop would be like an xp bank where they can just safely get some xp and go use it.

I haven't really looked into how experience works, but paying out in XP should be very doable.
A problem could be, I don't think you can award 0.01 XP, and awarding 1 XP for mining a block of dirt might be too much ;)
Have you considered using an XP shop plugin? I'm pretty sure someone has made one where you can buy XP, that would work well alongside this.

Posted Feb 5, 2012This looks awesome. Any chance you could make it so there is a chance it will payout experience? Keep up the good work.
