FramePicture

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

What is FramePicture?

Frame Picture is a plugin that can draw images in a itemframe.

-> How to install

1. Download the newest FramePicture.jar
2. Download the newest ProtocolLib from http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/protocollib/
3. Stop your Server
4. Drop the FramePicture.jar into your plugins folder.
5. Drop the ProtocolLib.jar into your plugins folder.
6. Start your Server
7. See the Tutorial

1. Install the Plugin and ProtocolLib.
2. Join to your Server.
3. Place a item frame
4. Search a photo in the internet
5. Type "/fp set URL" in the chat
6. Interact a item frame
7. Finish!

FramePicture supports the file formats .gif (no animations), .png and .jpg.

This plugin supports multilanguage.

@BillyGalbreath I have changed to new ItemStack(Material.AIR);

@MikeGold Economy Support is fixed in 1.4.4. Use you Bukkit or other Software?

You are going to keep getting errors until you realize ItemFrame contents can't be null. Ever.

I've tried to enable economy again without shutting down server. It froze it. I doubt that economy part of your plugin works. At least not with vault and BOSEconomy. Just a quick question: the picture loading is done on server or client side? I'm trying to figure out how much of the server's resources will it take to use your plugin. If all the picture loading is done on client side, it shouldn't be an issue.

I had another odd error. I've set up the picture frame, picked url and this time around this part went smoothly. No errors in the console, everything perfect. When I broke the frame though, it fell on the ground and also an item looking like map fell down. I picked the frame without problems, but when I tried to pick up map, I got kicked (I'm admin).

I have the same problem with "In the Frame is already an Item!" and my frames are blank. I'm using v1.4.1, too. :S

Try this as a fix:

FrameListener.java Line 77:

if (frame != null && !entity.getItem().getType().equals(Material.AIR)) {

Edit: I forgot to add a ! in the above code. :S

You have installed Vault without a Economy Plugin.

Please disable Economy in the config
