What is Factions?

With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.

Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.

Install

Stop your server.
Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
Start your server again.
Configure (Optional)

New In Factions 2.8

Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
Performance - Further work on improved performance.
Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

Anyone have this issue with Factions : Your chat console get spammed every one in a while, with factions trying to "detach / remove" the player from a specifique faction, and it return an NPE, causing the factions plugin to loop on it, making TPS drop and we are forced to remove the player file of this specifique player manually

Every time i do a reload of the server, my Factions crash and all the permissions go away.

I am using the latest version and the latest version of groupmanager.

This is the server load.

Hey, my server's been getting crashes for quite a while now, and it never actually logs as a crash, as on Multicraft, the server is shown to be online, but all players are unable to join the server and I'm unable to run any command from the console. It usually shows this

Also, allies and faction-mates can somehow attack each other with CrackShot guns.

Someone help me.

I can't seem to get mcore and factions to create their config folders. After i put them into the plugins folder and run the server it ceases to created their folders and config files. I dont know whats going on.

Please help, anyone!

On my server, I cannot get 5 plugins to work, supposedly for all the same reason, but I can't figure out how to correct it! (Factions included) This is the start up log for my server.

You need to make sure your version of MCore is made for your version of Factions. If it is, it just looks like it had a problem loading Factions. Also, since you are running Spigot, try running it on Bukkit instead. If it works on Bukkit, it's a problem with spigot.

When I run Factions and MCore on Spigot for all version of 1.7, it works fine.

First off, DO NOT PUT THE ENTIRE LOG into the comments. It just creates spam.
Second off, it appears that there is something corrupting some chunks in your world, or it could just be a problem with NoLagg loading the chunks. Run factions WITHOUT ANY OTHER PLUGINS, to make sure it works. If it does, it is a problem with your other plugins.

Guys still no one knows about why doesn't faction plugin create a folder with config and the rest? i don't know where it is saved.. but there should be a folder with all the claimed land and every faction on server..

Huh... I am not sure if this is a bug, but I have disabled Factions and mcore in every world but the FactionsWorld using PerWorldPlugins, but players still can see Faction messages like "MeMyself created a faction Example" in other worlds.

fixed it I was downloading the wrong version I was downloading it for the CB-1.5.2 R0.1 when I needed to download it for the CB-1.5.2 R1.0. but now I have another issue my config file is empty. -_- and I was wondering if somebody could post a comment with what should go in the config file?
