What is Factions?

With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.

Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.

Install

Stop your server.
Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
Start your server again.
Configure (Optional)

New In Factions 2.8

Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
Performance - Further work on improved performance.
Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

I can't find a working permission in 1.8.2 that allows users to use /f power and /f who. All the other permissions seem to be working but those 2 aren't on the list in the documentation. What permission controls those commands?

Even better. Scroll a little bit further until you see "Kits" - factions.kit.rank0 as it states (for Factions 2 at least)

What config option do I change so that Factions don't have to enemy to fight each other in their land?

You don't need to reload the config in 2.0, if you change the config and save the changes it will update automatically within a few seconds

Only ops are able to use the faction plugin on my server. I have not made a permissions.yml file because the default permissions have worked so far.

Is there any way to allow non-ops to use this plugin without using a permissions.yml?

If I have to use that file,where is the list of permissions. I can't seem to find it.

I'm having a problem. I'm trying to use the built in factions chat formatter but it won't add the factions_relcolor. Everything else is fine.

Here's my config in the factions_mconf folder

I'm really looking for 2 features which I suspect i'll need a 3rd party plugin to get. Anyone know of a way to make the following 2 things happen:

1 only building/destroying on faction land.

2 restoring unclaimed land to how it was before claimed

how do i add the permission to groupmanager in the default group i add the factions.kit.fullplayer in teh permissions and nothing happpends
