What is Factions?
With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.
Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
- Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
- Configure (Optional)
New In Factions 2.8
- Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
- Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
- WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
- Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
- Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
- 1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
- Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
- Performance - Further work on improved performance.
- Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

Posted Jul 23, 2013Please can The faction owner or someone please help me, On my server I have the latest Factions Plugins with the MCore thing and in the new faction update there is an /f home TP Delay and I have no idea how to disable it or make it less longer, ive checked through all configs and its driving me mad, so if you could help me id be so grateful! Posted Jul 23, 2013For those who do not want the new version of Factions and the problems it brings, just download the old one. Click 'Files' above and find the "line" you want. 1.6.x is the one that was working well with the commands everyone is used it. It works just fine with the newest bukkit release (as of July 23, 2013).
The new 2.x with mcore will need to be updated and changed on every server with every (semi) major release of craftbukkit. Making factions reliant on such a system (meaning mcore and its intimacy with minor minecraft releases) will cause more grief to system owners than any griefing group ever could.

Okay If There Both .jar Then Put It In The Plugin Folder And Load The Server but Wait watch The Server Load Up To See If There Is An error If there Is Read It And See What It is.

Posted Jul 23, 2013No matter how much I try factions won't work. I put mcore and factions into my plugins folder then start up my server and factions doesn't show up. No matter how many times i try and redo it again it still doesn't work. I tried the other faction versions and it still doesn't work. Someone please help me? Thanks!

"Note: The tag {factions_relcolor} does not work with EssentialsChat."
"Note: The tag {factions_relcolor} does not work with HeroChat."
So basically {factions_relcolor} doesn't work at all.

Also, players can't join factions while disguised (disguisecraft).
