Elevators 2
Overview
A fully customizable plugin that lets you create elevators and platforms of any shape that can move in any direction. It continues my (Cybran) original "Elevators" plugin.
Features of the Beta
- Creating platforms and elevators of an individual size and shape
- Moving any type of blocks: Solid blocks, fluids, Chests, dispensers, redstone, signs, furnaces, even rudimentary piston support
- Moving any type of entity: Players, animals, mobs, items, minecarts (though the last one might not move flawlessly)
- Move platforms / elevators into any direction
- Movement queuing: the elevator will move to different locations one after another
- Permissions support: Using Bukkit's permission system
- Creating an unlimited amount of floors
- Use redstone (circuits) to control elevator movement
- Produce redstone currents on events
- Use signs to control elevator movement
- Animated sign displays
- Automatically opening/closing doors (of blocks)
I'm sorry, but the project is discontinued.

Posted Sep 12, 2013I have a permission to record a video.... but I'm havan't got a lot of time for now.... I think you must wait hmmmm.... one week? :/ (or to sunday [in Polish time]) or max to 1st October...
Video about making a elevator in my building, and showing how's the elevators work :D

Posted Sep 11, 2013I think Cybran want to release a full plugin and a lot of extensions WITHOUT any bugs... This plugin is still under Alpha... and there is still a lot of things to do...
Actually there is a #829 alpha build... for Java version 6.x and bukkit version 1.6.2 R0.1 (BETA)
If you want, (and Cybran give me a permission to show how the plugin works) I can record a movie with this plugin :P

About testing: there is 4 extensions and a main plugin...
You can build on platform what you want.
And the plugin and extensions are multilingual
About extensions:
Floors extension: can loop floors, sort, creating, deleting, renaming, move to floor
Signs extension: displaying elevators movement, callable elevators by sign, 1 sign can call one nearest elevator (from eg 9 elevators), controllable elevators by sign (choosing floor we want to go)
Redstone extension: can call elevators by buttons, can move elevators, can move elevators to X floor, can call one nearest elevator (from eg 9 elevators)
Redstone Output extension: can show elevator movement, can show is the elevator arrived to your current floor
Actually available is 2 languages: English and Polish (and I think German, because DevCybran is from Germany)

Double doors are already possible with my latest alpha builds (using redstone outputs). More features will come up later.

Actually, yours is litterally the exact same as his was. You may have rewritten a bit of it.. but other than that, platforms, were already in his. The only thing that none of you have come up with, is Double Doors, When the elevator isn't there the outside iron doors lock, and when the elevator is moving, the ones on the elevators lock too.

Oh, of course you can use buttons! Why do you think this won't be an option? ;) It's not in the feature list right now because the old plugin was designed to work very well with buttons in particular - the new plugin can use any redstone signal in the same way! But because a plugin with so many features is hard to maintain, I decided to outsource things like redstone into extensions, which you can choose depending on which features you want to have.
Also, the project is going quite well, a lot of features just like the redstone things have been added recently. But even more are planned. So, it may still take a while ;)
