EasterHunt

This is a plugin that adds easter eggs in Minecraft.
Type /easteregg give and you will get a stack of random eggs.
Each time you type this command you get an egg with random colors.
Then, throw an egg and, if you have the permissions, a message will be broadcasted saying you have created an egg.
If someone picks an egg up, he will get a random reward from the config.
It can be a ban, a kit, items or whatever you want (it has to be a command).
If a player pickups an egg, a message will be broadcasted saying what he won (only works for /give).
These eggs won't despawn but clearlagg will delete them, so please add 383 (id of the egg) in the config.

Commands & Permissions:

/easteregg: Main command for EasterHunt.
/easteregg give: Gives you an easter egg.
/easteregg respawning: Changes the egg you hold to respawn or not.
/easteregg forcerespawn: Instantly respawns all pending eggs.
/easteregg clear: Clears all eggs on ground.
/easteregg reload: Reloads the config.

easterhunt.giveegg: Lets you clears all the eggs on ground.
easterhunt.clear: Lets you get an easter egg with.
easterhunt.forcerespawn: Lets you respawn all pending eggs.
easterhunt.togglerespawning: Lets you change an egg to respawning or not.
easterhunt.createegg: Lets you create an easter egg.
easterhunt.createautoegg: Lets you create a automatically respawning egg.
easterhunt.reload: Lets you reload the config.

New features ideas

• /easteregg rewards - allows to list and edit the rewards with an in-game GUI

@gepardo43 I just uploaded a 1.9 version for EasterHunt.

I will also try to make a new version with auto respawning eggs before Sunday (easter 2016).

Hey

My player had great fun a year ago with this plugin.
Are you planning to update this plugin for spigot 1.9?
Overall it works ok, but these errors spam console and chat broadcast dont show

Not sure if thats supposed to happen but if i drop an egg it says created and on pickup i ALWAYS returns "found an easter egg" and gives a reward, it never states "found an easter egg and has won" and i thought it would be random wether you get something or not

PS: I did not in any way shape or form touch the config file.

Very awesome au2001 :) You're an amazing author for continuing to update the plugin even after Easter. This plugin works for ever after Easter too ;D

Things this plugin would be perfect for:

a special hide and seek drop party for new players
whoever gets the best items egg minigame
INSERT MORE IDEAS HERE lol

@freakyy85 The permission is : easterhunt.giveegg And to reload it's easterhunt.reload. And you also need to give the permission easterhunt.createegg so that they can drop the egg.

@Ironic8b49 I will add a command to remove all the eggs in the next version ;) And I may add a region where each time you pickup an egg, it respawns one randomly :P

@Baalint04 I am working on a easier way to configure the rewards, it will probably fix it. And I am making big changes for next year easter :)

for me it works, but I don't know the permission for people to do /easteregg. I wanna give it to my moderators (non-op) - what's the permission?

usable is not running right, I like the plugin would be better if it worked correct and if the admins had a way to de-spawn the eggs that were not found. Also a command to randomly spawn eggs in certain regions or marked areas.

I did watch video, I also install on server with no change to config and it still does the same thing, so I guess it is not working like you think in craftbukkit 1.8.3. Are you testing in Spigot 1.8.3?

It works on 1.8.3. You just need to ensure the item you set is correct. I would suggest taking a look at either of the tutorials above if you need more assistance with using the plugin :)

Is it possable to add that if the player that placed the eggs get no rewards if they re pick up there eggs.

Will this plugin be updated in time for Easter this year I'm running Craftbukkit 1.8.3, it seems to give rewards every time and gives message they would get when no reward was given.
