Having you disguise first is the best method of making sure you have all the permissions for that disguise.

Posted Aug 8, 2012You should really make the mobs make their own sound like in MobDisguise, because when I was using MD to disguise as a creeper and my friend hit me, he heard the creeper sound, but in DC it doesn't do that, please implement it.

Unlucky for me I don't know how to code plugins. Plus I can't find any that do that. So I am asking you to do it. Please do it, or make a plugin that does it. I would but I have no idea how to use java :P.

It's going to be made, but we've long planned that it wouldn't be distributed for free.
It'd be much too much time and effort for that.
This new plugin would have abilities for a variety of mobs. It would likely handle death drops, wolf/cat sitting, creeper explosions, ghast fireballs, and plenty more XD

Wait, I don't understand, in MobDisguise it was only the plugin, the client didn't have to install any mods or anything (Sorry I don't really understand that) Why can't you make it like in MobDisguise again? And yeah, also, improve mob movement. When I was playing the movement of the disguise is really derpy.

The client still doesn't have to install any mods for either plugin, but the part you don't understand is that in both DisguiseCraft and MobDisguise it is the client that handles the mobs. Our client merely tells the client to spawn the mob and where it should move. The client handles sounds and dozens of other things.
The disguises are set to move exactly as the player does. If it's doing more than that, then it could've been caused by the protocol change of 1.3.1

I still don't understand, can't you just tell the client to hear the TSS sound instead of the bone breaking sound for the creeper, or is it because there's something wrong with my client?

Well, as I can see it did it in MobDisguise somehow... Whatever, that means that there's pretty much nothing you can do about the bone breaking sounds? Because if someone hits you and they hear it, they pretty much understand that it's a disguised player =/

You need to understand that what I am saying is that the sounds work exactly the same in DC as in MD. You probably aren't making the correct observations. Perhaps you didn't incorporate the recent MineCraft update?

UndisguiseWhenHit: True #Automatically get undisguised when a player hits you. UndisguiseWhenDamage: True #Automatically get undisguised when you hit a player.
