DiabloDrops

Currently generates 2,679,707,091,600 unique items with default settings!
This plugin adjusts the mob dropping mechanics to include regularly dropped enchanted items that could be commonly found in Diablo.

I want to provide specific items with certain ranks/donator packages but the current commands: /dd custom only gives a random item out of the list..

Posted Jan 21, 2013You should totally replace the furnace socketing technique with the anvil [Open Socket Gear] + [Socket Gem] = [Epic Item] it also makes it bit more realistic!

I found another bug, if an item has several socket slots, u need to work your way from the bottom up with the colours, and if you socket one, it works fine, but when you go to socket the second one, it wipes the item clean of all diablodrops information. no enchants, no s\lore, no special name, nothing.

If you comment out Attack, Defense, and Leech in your offenselore and defenselore, yes. Otherwise, no.

The lore is fixed now. If you use a skull as your Socket Enhancement item, it'll add the player's name to the item.

I'd like to incorporate it but it's WAY too OP for my economy. - If I could alter the drop rates to say, drop 1 item with a 1/200 chance per kill that would be great!

ok, i added ur latest dev, it no longer removes enchants, but it does remove any lore on the item. Still a step in the right direction lol, its usable now. It also seems to put the name of random players in front of the items name...

It should be fixed in development versions.
We both apologize for the slow rate of development recently. We've both taken on extra responsibilities and are adjusting. Hopefully we will be returning to a much better rate of development soon.

Posted Jan 18, 2013If this is intendet to be (as I can read in your code), please take it as a suggestion. I want to be able to spawn a specific custom item at some places in our server (complex system of commands and regions). But I think it would be a nice idea for all of us.

It should do what you described with the pool. It might not. We'll check on it. Per point of defense, it adds or subtracts damage. + Defense subtract damage, while - Defense adds damage.

Posted Jan 18, 2013Great plugin! Love it! But if i activate "save enchants" i get some items with no enchants at all. I think this is because the plugin chooses enchantments first an then decides if they're safe and removes unsafe ones? My workaround is setting high enchantment amounts, but this is very unbalanced as I can get low tier items with many enchants and high tiers with less enchants. Could this be changed, so the plugin chooses from a pool of safe enchants and not from all of them if this is activated? Would be great. Also I would love to have more customization options for possible enchantments.
Also sometimes enemies don't drop their enchanted items (latest dev build) (maybe theese are items with no enchants and thus the drop get canceled?).
How exactly is the Defense modifier calculated? Before or after any Armor calculations (-1dmg per defense?)? Or is it added to armor defense-points (->additional 4% reduction per point) or to protection enchants?

Defense modifies the damage taken in an event. + Defense lessens the damage, - Defense increases it.

Can you tell em how the defense stat works, how good is it really, and if you have 1 defense on one item, and 1 defense on another, does that mean u have 2 defense, or 1?
