⚡ Performance & Stability Update

 

Deadchest now handles data in a smarter way:

  • All chests are stored in a dedicated SQLite database instead of a large ChestData.yml file.

  • Data processing runs on a separate thread, reducing lag spikes.

  • This change brings smoother performance, especially for large servers with many players and chests.

Don’t worry: your existing ChestData.yml will be automatically migrated to the new database on update

 

Overall, Deadchest is now more stable, more efficient, and ready for bigger adventures!

 

In case of migration issues :

  • You can safely stay on v4.22.2.

  • If you want to upgrade cleanly from v4.22.2, run /dc removeall before switching to v4.23.0.
