Custom Enchantments
Description
This plugin adds a whole bunch of awesome new Items and enchantments that are independent of the Minecraft Enchantment system.
This is my first plugin and at the same time my first Java Project.

Videos of the Plugin
Please note that the following Videos were made using older versions of the plugin:
Commands
- /ce - The main command node for Custom Enchantments
Please note that for any command after the main node, you do not have to enter it's full name, the first letter is enough (Example: /ce list = /ce l).
Words in angle Brackets ( < > ) mean that the argument is required, while words written in square Brackets ( [ ] ) are optional.
- /ce runecrafting - Opens the runecrafting inventory.
- /ce menu - Opens an inventory menu for navigating and obtaining Custom Enchantments and Items.
- /ce reload - Reloads the CE config.
- /ce remove [Enchantment] - Removes an enchantment (or all of them) from an item.
- /ce list <Enchantment/Item> - Lists all Custom Enchantments or Items.
- /ce enchant [Required material] <Enchantment> [level] - Adds the specified Enchantment to the item in your hand. If a required material is given, the command will only work if the player holds that item. If an item already has the enchantment, the level will be increased.
- /ce item <Item> - Transforms the item in the player's hand into the specified Custom Item.
- /ce change <Name/Lore> <Color/Set/Add/Reset> [New Value] - Allows you to change the name/lore of the item in your hand
- /ce give <Player> <Material> <Item/Custom or Vanilla Enchantment:Level> [Custom or Vanilla Enchantment:Level] ... - Gives the target player an item with the set material containing the given Enchantments. Please note that the Material has to be either the Minecraft material ID or the Bukkit material ID. The same goes for the Vanilla enchantment names. You can add infinite vanilla and custom enchantments to the item using this command.

Enchantment Books
Version 2.4 added a feature called Runecrafting that allows enchantments to be put on books.
They can be created using /ce ench or /ce menu, given through /ce give and obtained by enchanting a book using the enchanting table.
If disenchanting is enabled, enchanted items can also be turned into enchantment books.
Using an enchantment book or an enchanted item on an Anvil will open the Runecrafting inventory, which can also be opened by using /ce menu or /ce runecrafting. The lower slot requires the enchanted item while the top slot requires the item to enchant.
Sign shops
If you are using version 2.2 or higher of the plugin, you can sell Enchantments by setting up a sign in the following format:
- "[CustomEnchant]" (Without the "s) as the first line.
- The Enchantment you want to sell as the second line.
- The cost of the enchantment as the fourth line. This requires Vault and a compatible economy plugin
Players that do not have the enchantment will have the enchantment applied to their current item, if they already have the enchantment they are trying to buy, the level of the enchantment will increase by 1, up to the specified maximum level of the Enchantment (Can be set in the config).
CE-Menu
If you have Vault installed, you can set a price for the Items/Enchantments through the config. The items and enchantments can then be bought in /ce menu.
CE's in Kits
To add Custom Enchantments and Items into kits, follow this guide:
- Check out if your kit plugin supports colored names and/or lores.
- Find example kits that add colored names and/or lores in your kit plugin
- For items, set "name: <Item>", for Enchantments, set "lore: <Enchantment>". You may have to find out how to add multiple lines of lore via your kit plugin
Notes:
The <Item> is structured like this: <Colorcode of the Item><The full Itemname>, the <Enchantment> is defined as: <Colorcode of the Enchantments><EnchantmentName> <Level in roman numerals>
The Colorcodes can be found on this site.
Examples:
Lifesteal would be "lore: &4&oLifesteal" (If you didn't change the standard color of the enchantments) &4 stands for the Color Dark Red, &o stands for the name being italic
In essentials, Lifesteal II and Poison III would be "lore: &4&oLifesteal II|&4&oPoison III" (Note: the '|' in the middle of the two enchantments seperates multiple lines in the lore of the kits made by essentials)
Flamethrower would then be "name: &4Flamethrower"

The Price line has to look like the following:
Price: <Amount as a Number>
Keep in mind that anything after the amount will make the line faulty (Will be changed)
@macrufi1
Do you happen to know why the names are glitching out that much? I'll look into that.
@Hellsword143
Currently, there is no real system for Strengths.
I think that you can set multiple enchants, you can definetly do that if you can set the 2nd and 3rd, etc. line of the lore of the item :D
@Taiterio
Yeah, it's a problem with the outdated Minecraft Version of your server, I will fix that asap

Posted Mar 1, 2014Hi there is it possible to change the strength level of all the enchantments and if they can be changed can the strength of an enchantment be changed when using essentials to create kits.
Is there a way of having multiple enchantments on 1 item when selling the item as a kit? (Im using essentials kits)
Also thanks for the help with getting the enchantments to look normal :)

Set the color of the enchantments to GRAY and set italic to false, then it should look alike
@JavituRec
Fixing that, seems to be a problem with the method of getting the damage not existing in 1.5.2
@vidieowiz4
Are the enchantments the players are getting through the shop exactly the same as the ones you enchant? Does their color vary?
@deekondvg
The thing with the mobs would have to be a configurable option, as it would cause massive lag to track mob-movement. Added those enchantments to my list, please leave those on the "planned features" page tho :P
The bug will be fixed aswell, I'll probably push out a quick fix for that

Posted Feb 23, 2014Hey taiterio I have a quick little request. Can you make the trap blocks like landmines and bear traps be set off by mobs as well. I would love to add these to a mini game for fighting off mobs <3 Perhaps at least add a configuration like Affects Mobs: (true/false) if your aiming these for players and not mobs.
Another few Suggestions for the upcoming 2.0
Feller enchant for axes - Would allow breaking of trees in a single swing (Make sure to make this NCP compatible If you do)
Treasury enchant for Fishing rods - Would allow you to fish up some nice items (Sort of like mcmmo or better yet colab with mcmmo treasure hunter)
Morph tool enchant - Automatically changes the tool into the proper piece for the job. For example start mining dirt with a pick, you pick would become a shovel with the same durability and tool material, start mining wood with a shovel, poof your shovel is now an axe ect. ect.
Overclock tool enchant - Applies configurable haste effect when tool is in hand
Rocket Launcher (Special item) - Bow that shoots wither heads
Juggernaut - Armor enchant that applies slowness but gives you extra amount of configurable hearts and protection strength of IV or V
----------------------Bug fix request - So it seems when Running a plugin that gives players extra health bandages and healing shovels don't recognize this and only will heal to a normal 20 HP ;c

Yeah, that sounds like a neat idea, with the system I'm implementing that would look like this:
/ce enchant [Name of Enchantment] (Material):(Durability) (Player)
For Syntax: [] means required, () means optional

Posted Feb 22, 2014Heres a suggestion how about a /ench <player> <material>:<durability> <enchantment> Yeah and you should like add in every like item meta of essentials in there because it would come in handy for a kit because one of my kit is like firework bow with power 100 and i wanted them to only use it 3 times and it broken...

I'll do that, though I had this ignorecancelled thing in already, with no real effect on anything I'll just try around with the priority and. stuff :D

Could you possibly make it so the enchantments do not take effect if the event is cancelled? My players are telling me that they can still hit each other even if factions prevents the event. Perhaps either make the event priority lower, or add this if you haven't already to your event handlers:
@EventHandler(ignoreCancelled = true)
Thanks!
