What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
Make it possible to craft Spawners, and a idea for sources.
Please provide any additional information below.
Maybe make it, so you have burning magnesium as a source of life. You could add smelting to diamonds, so it will become Glimmering diamonds.
You could make a new item, called general source, and let it be a source for special things. Maybe you could add a source of life, source of damage and a special source. Those could be made by adding a sapling to the source, adding a lava-bucket to the source and making a 'block' of the sources.
Then, you could get it to make a magical spawner, crafted (for example) like this:

S=Spawn egg of the mob.
O=Source
L=Source of life

You could also make it so if you use the source of life in a recipe, it will give the item regeneration. Or the source of damage, and it will get thorns, sharpness or smite. I could think of a lot of stuff to make with sources, but, in the end, it is your plugin!
