Command Signs
Make signs run commands!
CommandSigns allows you to assign any commands to any block making it easier for your players to do their command-based business!
Required Dependency
- Vault is required for CommandSigns. You can get it here: Vault
Features
- Run commands from signs or any other block with a single click
- Signs can have any other text on them, the commands are linked to the sign behind the scenes
- Elevate user permissions to run any command you choose
- Restrict who can use the sign and when
- Activate your CommandSigns with redstone
How To Use
- Place a sign (or block) and add any writing you want
- Add lines to your clipboard with /commandsigns line<number> <\text or /command>
- Right click the block to make it a CommandSign

Auto Updating
CommandSigns automatically checks for updates in order to keep your server up to date with the latest bug fixes! You can set CommandSigns to update completely automatically in config.yml, or to manually update, type /commandsigns update.

CommandSigns just runs commands. It has no idea what god is. (CommandSigns is agnostic)

as royalgamer wants it.. :D
I do have a question though, i saw u can make the %seconds thingy
backstory: my players can buy god to them self i put it on them every time and take it off every time it "shuld" run out. but it is really har do controle when many players on.
So i want to use these command-sign with buy God/
But i also want godmode to disable itself, after an amount of %second
But if players log off its not possible for me to disable their god, so i figured the signs culdnt either.
Big picture is:
Will it be possible to execute a disable god command for the signs when a player logs on again and his time already ran out.. :D

To have multiple lines you have to make them with the commands. What's wrong with using the commands? They're easy and make signs look much nicer.

I'm working on making Vault optional for 1.8, since it really is only used for granting permissions and checking economy. The permissions can be done (sort of) without vault, so I'll probably try to make it a soft-depend soon. Also, I'm working on writing importers for every other plugin like this, so everyone can change over with 0 work. (just throw CommandSigns in and it will import the data and uninstall the old plugin.

Posted May 4, 2012@zonedaboneany chance of converting from Triggercmds too? This seems like a true superset of Triggercmds now. The only thing TriggerCmds has going for it is it does not need Vault.
Ps. On that subject, is Vault really needed? Seems overkill for servers that do not have an economy system.

/cs is an alias for /commandsigns. You can also use /cmds update or /commandsigns update.

Posted May 3, 2012Interesting news: Nearly 400 servers use CommandSigns to make over 3000 active signs. Huzzah!
CommandSigns has been started 24,000 times since 1.5.0.
Other News:
I think I'll add an auto-importer for SimpleCommandSigns so people using that can switch to CS. (Which IMHO has many more features and overall is much more complete than any other plugin like it out there)

You can download it with /cmds update -f (On 1.7.1)

Awesome! The issue with not loading previous signs is still there, I've updated the ticket I made earlier with new info for 1.7.0. It doesn't fail in the same way anymore (woo?)
