Command Signs
Make signs run commands!
CommandSigns allows you to assign any commands to any block making it easier for your players to do their command-based business!
Required Dependency
- Vault is required for CommandSigns. You can get it here: Vault
Features
- Run commands from signs or any other block with a single click
- Signs can have any other text on them, the commands are linked to the sign behind the scenes
- Elevate user permissions to run any command you choose
- Restrict who can use the sign and when
- Activate your CommandSigns with redstone
How To Use
- Place a sign (or block) and add any writing you want
- Add lines to your clipboard with /commandsigns line<number> <\text or /command>
- Right click the block to make it a CommandSign

Auto Updating
CommandSigns automatically checks for updates in order to keep your server up to date with the latest bug fixes! You can set CommandSigns to update completely automatically in config.yml, or to manually update, type /commandsigns update.

When you are using /*cmd it gives your players OP and they can totaly destroy your server!!!
This plugin should be deleted from bukkit, by bukkit staff as exploit plugin!!!

This plugin is amazing but just wondering if the perms compatibility works. i am not sure that it does and if so does it work with ll perms plugins?

Posted Jan 6, 2014Is it possible to flag the command on line 2 to only execute if the command on line 1 executed fine?
I'm trying to set up an item exchange using command signs, where the first command takes an item from the player's inventory and the second command gives an item. Currently, the 'give' command on line 2 works even if the player didn't have the item in their inventory for the 'take' command to work.

Posted Dec 29, 2013This plugin doesnt seem to make sure that it stays over restart, it seems to be working as soon as you set it up, when you restart, it clears all of it.

Posted Dec 16, 2013Hello zonedabone & CJxD I had the plugin on my server, but then it just disapered from my server. Once i restarted my sever it just would'ent let me type /cmds. I tried to reinstall it but it did'nt work. Do you know if there is any other copy of your plugin that could help me? Your plugin make my server run. I cant use it without CommandSigns. So please tell me a way to fix this problem or just message me if its impossible to get it back . From Jeorgos :-)

Posted Dec 14, 2013Yea this plugin works fine for me on the latest spigot build. If the signs enabled u have to enter edit mode before adding more lines. Althought i request a feature. @item <item id>
This will cancel the rest of the command if said item is not in the hand of player that clicks a command sign.
This would come in usefull in situations where a specific item has to be in your hand to successfully complete the task of a specific sign. Thanks for ur time

Posted Dec 11, 2013Just a warning to everyone, this plugin (seems to) crash my server from "out of memory" error. it was crashing a few times a day with this plugin installed, I removed it and now it hasn't crashed since. Using the 1.7.2 bukkit dev builds YMMV

Posted Dec 6, 2013I really like this plugin and don't want to learn Lua to make command signs!!
I am having a problem though: in certain cases, signs will delete themselves (the sign is still there but it doesn't perform commands), and then after I reprogram them, they go away not too much later! Can somebody help??
