What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. The warning for ClearLag runs
2. There is a massive lag spike for about a minute - everything freezes
3. I check the console and see an error.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No massive lag spike. A massive lag spike.

What version of the product are you using?
Unknown. I installed this before I began logging plugin versions.

Do you have an error log of what happened?

From the error, it appears the plugin is trying to connect to a server (i.e. a version check server) and is failing.

To clarify, this was caused by the announcement of the ClearLag- not the warning,

Can't really tell much by the error, but it seems like clearlag tried to remove an active player entity.
