I believe that adding some more customization to the "live-time" feature would allow server owners to use the "live-time" feature to it's full potential. Having this setting be a sort of "all or nothing" (all items vs all mobs) tends to get in the way of a few things, specifically horses/mounts.
I'm specifically asking for Mob-Filter and/or World-Filter for this feature, but if you're able to do this then I'm sure adding Item-Filter would also be a good idea for other servers.
To be as clear as possible, I use "live-filter" for mob spawners and mob eggs specifically. This unfortunately gets in the way of my horse stables at my spawn. I feel this feature gives my players a bit more "bang for their buck" in terms of monster spawners. It doesn't limit their spawn rates, just helps prevent AFKers from lagging out the server and/or themselves. AFK'ing at their spawners will only yield 10 minutes worth of mobs due to "live-timer" and I feel this has worked perfectly for our server since I first enabled it. It also encourages players to focus on placing their spawners the most efficient way possible to yield maximum spawning rates.
It's such a great feature that I feel more server owners could make use of if it had a bit more customization to it.
