ChestShop
A simple, yet very powerful system for making physical shops using signs and chests.
It's never been that easy to create shops! With features like shop protection and anti-lag protection, you won't have to worry about your server's economy anymore!
"Just works"! ChestShop supports almost all economy plugins by using Vault!
(Versions above 3.9.2 also support economy plugins using the Reserve API)

If you are upgrading from a previous version of ChestShop please make sure to always read the warnings in the file's changelog!
The plugin by default submits anonymous stats about your server (player count, plugin/server version and type) to a public statistics websites (mcstats.org and bstats.org) in order to provide the developers with usage information. If you wish to opt out, you can do so in the PluginMetrics/config.yml and bstats/config.yml files. It also features an auto-update feature, which can be turned off in the config.

Using shops
It's easy! Just right-click the sign to buy, left-click to sell. (You can configure the buttons in the config file!)
How to create a shop
Player shop
| Place a chest on the ground | |
| Place a sign 1 block away from the chest (for example, above it) | |
| On the sign, write: |  |
| Leave the first line empty. It will be automatically filled with your name by the plugin (if you have the permission ChestShop.admin then you can create shops with the names of other players) | |
| Second line is the amount of items to buy or sell | |

Third line is a combination of buy and sell prices. You need to have a price indicator (like 'B' - price that will apply to items BOUGHT by PLAYERS - or 'S' - the SELL price) near the price - the prices are separated by a colon (:) |

The forth line will hold the id/name of the item. Write ? on the sign and the item will be autofilled with the one from the chest or you can click on the sign with the item afterwards. Optionally you can put the actual name on it. You can find out the name of the item you're holding by doing /iteminfo |

Admin Shop - shop with unlimited items
Firstly, you've got to be sure that you've the ChestShop.admin permission or that you are an OP. To make an Admin Shop, simply put "Admin Shop" (configurable in config.yml) on the first line of the sign when creating the shop. Admin Shops do not require a chest!

- /csgive <itemcode> [<amount>] [<player>] - Give item with a unique ChestShop code to a player

Metrics
This resource sends metrics data to McStats and bStats. You can opt-out of metrics for all plugins on your server by changing the settings in the PluginMetrics/config.yml and the bStats/config.yml file if you don't want any data to be send.

Is there a way to create a global minimum buy price for all items?
Users are setting up shops for buying an item for .1000 so at a quick glance it looks like 1000.
Kinda scamming and a lot of people are doing it, the config only seems to allow me to set individual item limits not a global limit

Posted Apr 26, 2014Permission Troubles... The plugin seem to ignore permissions and let everyone create shops as they like, wether i set, set with negate, or not set permissions at all. This feature on my server suppose to be for Donators only, but the plugin just lets everyone make it.
Any Ideas?
I'm using PermissionsEx permission manager.
Maybe Issues with the UUID system?

I don't know if someone have have asked that (probably yes, but i did not found anything), but i want to know if you can make this plugin works with UTF-8 support. I mean, i need to use accentuation because my main language is portuguese, some peoples can log in and say "lol is this admin illiterate?". This phrase for example: "Você não te permissão", it means "You don't have permission", i have to use "Voce nao tem permissao" without any special character, that looks very weird for us.
The portuguese language uses a lot of special characters like é, â, ã, ç, à and there is a lot of portuguese servers actually, it is one of the countries that have most minecraft players, if you make this support you will probably attract much more fans to your plugin. Anyway, i dont know how this plugin is constructed, so i dont know if you can really make this support, but a lot of peoples will use it, not only portuguese, but spanish, germans and italians will thank you forever for that.

/cs buy <id-of-item-from-sign> <amount> <Admin_Shop(optional/default)>
I want to execute the buy command with other commands in aliases(with other plugin).

Posted Apr 25, 2014Weird, the Admin Shops work perfectly for me, just update to the latest version of your server (craftbukkit, spigot) and remove the users.db file, restart, all should be fine. It worked for me

Posted Apr 24, 2014I tried to deny players from buying maps by giving them "-chestshop.shop.buy.358" but they can still buy from regular- and adminshops.
I alos tried to give them "-chestshop.shop.buy.*" but they are still able to buy.
However when I gave them "-chestshop.shop.*" or "-chestshop.shop.buy" they were not able to buy.
I use 3.7.8 with newest version of pex and latest spigot dev build. They dont have any "postive" chestshop permissions.

@KevinEssence Sometimes it seems like the users.db file can corrupt if you've run an earlier version of Spigot. Please try downloading the latest version of Spigot again and delete plugins/ChestShop/users.db
@Awsmpossum1313 As I replied above, try running the latest version of Spigot and ChestShop, making sure that plugins/ChestShop/users.db is deleted after the update.
@Gaurav1234 You can already download the latest, dev version, that works with UUIDs. How it works is once a player joins the server, his username is mapped to an UUID. Then, all the signs are using his name (even if he changes it), which is assigned to the UUID. That's also why I require that players have to join the server at least once after the update for their shops to work.

Posted Apr 20, 2014Bug: Having same issue as jhezreel708. Bug is being exploited by putting "Playername] [amount] 1EB10000000 [Itemid]" on a sign and doesn't require items in the chest.
This is a severe bug. It must be solved, or I will be forced to remove ChestShop.
