ChestShop
A simple, yet very powerful system for making physical shops using signs and chests.
It's never been that easy to create shops! With features like shop protection and anti-lag protection, you won't have to worry about your server's economy anymore!
"Just works"! ChestShop supports almost all economy plugins by using Vault!
(Versions above 3.9.2 also support economy plugins using the Reserve API)

If you are upgrading from a previous version of ChestShop please make sure to always read the warnings in the file's changelog!
The plugin by default submits anonymous stats about your server (player count, plugin/server version and type) to a public statistics websites (mcstats.org and bstats.org) in order to provide the developers with usage information. If you wish to opt out, you can do so in the PluginMetrics/config.yml and bstats/config.yml files. It also features an auto-update feature, which can be turned off in the config.

Using shops
It's easy! Just right-click the sign to buy, left-click to sell. (You can configure the buttons in the config file!)
How to create a shop
Player shop

| Place a sign 1 block away from the chest (for example, above it) | |
| On the sign, write: |  |
| Leave the first line empty. It will be automatically filled with your name by the plugin (if you have the permission ChestShop.admin then you can create shops with the names of other players) | |
| Second line is the amount of items to buy or sell | |

Third line is a combination of buy and sell prices. You need to have a price indicator (like 'B' - price that will apply to items BOUGHT by PLAYERS - or 'S' - the SELL price) near the price - the prices are separated by a colon (:) |

The forth line will hold the id/name of the item. Write ? on the sign and the item will be autofilled with the one from the chest or you can click on the sign with the item afterwards. Optionally you can put the actual name on it. You can find out the name of the item you're holding by doing /iteminfo |

Admin Shop - shop with unlimited items
Firstly, you've got to be sure that you've the ChestShop.admin permission or that you are an OP. To make an Admin Shop, simply put "Admin Shop" (configurable in config.yml) on the first line of the sign when creating the shop. Admin Shops do not require a chest!

- /csgive <itemcode> [<amount>] [<player>] - Give item with a unique ChestShop code to a player

Metrics
This resource sends metrics data to McStats and bStats. You can opt-out of metrics for all plugins on your server by changing the settings in the PluginMetrics/config.yml and the bStats/config.yml file if you don't want any data to be send.

Im not using Mac on the client or server, they are both windows (10 and 2008 server). Also I have the latest java on both (1.8.0_51-b16) and only one version (but both 32 and 64). the sign have worked before, but i did try to update them and it says "shop created" in the chat and it add a big M if I type map:X or if I use the id for map it adds "Map". It does not add any blank characters ether. So the creation of the shop works, and a few times the shop also works. It also seems to work if I am OP, but if i am not I dont even get a message if im not. Another ting if i click the sell button it shows up an message that I cant sell (since its a buy-only sign).
What im trying to sell its created maps with a specific id, but i have also tried book and quill and its the same problem.
EDIT: I found the problem. It was the spawnprotection in vanilla minecraft that stoped me from buying. when I changed it to 0 it worked :).

Posted Aug 19, 2015I have recently been contacted as a server owner concerning a chestshop exploit where players could put a specific series of numbers and letters on a sign to get anything they wanted, this exploit exists in multiple versions of chestshop from my understanding.
Any of you looking for a fix to this issue, that may be using chestshop on an Attack of the Bteam or another server running a 1.6.4 version of minecraft, will be happy to know there is a very simple solution.
Use the 3.7.9 version of chestshop, its that simple.

In mentions that i am not using "Xerial SQLite driver" how do i go about installing it?
Extra Info: I'm currently setting up and testing the server on a Windows machine, once complete it will be running of a Linux box.

Posted Aug 16, 2015Hi have a a weird bug on my server. Everything has been working fine before, but I think after the latest update this happen. When people try to buy from the adminshops it sometimes don't work. they get no error or anything, just nothing. But from time to time it works and the normal shops seems to have no problems. When it did not work for me i just tried to give my self OP and it worked instantly.
There is nothing in the log ether.

Yo I will help you bro. I fixed that problem like this. That's because of vanilla minecraft command /setworldspawn Make sure u have Essentials.Spawn.2.x.SNAPSHOT latest Spiggot spawn plugin(spigot plugins also works on bukkit). That is happening because vanilla server spawn is protected I think 10x10 fix me if im wrong so it will not allow anyone except OP's to manage spawn area. So this is what you will do: Go somewhere where u don't have any signshop's or something that will normal players interact with and do /setworldspawn then go back to your original spawn where you want to players spawn when they die or enter server etc. and do /setspawn Voila it will work 100%.

Posted Aug 13, 2015I have a server shop in the spawn of my server, and players can use the sell signs but cannot use the buy signs. When they right-click the buy signs, nothing happens. The sell signs work perfectly. The thing is, I (being OP) can use the buy signs when I am in survival mode no problem, but nobody else can. I've tried messing around with the permissions, even giving the single permission node for buying (ChestShop.shop.buy) but it's still not working.

Posted Aug 10, 2015Is there a way to make new currencies with CraftConomy and link them. Like if a player has 500 cookies (just a currency name) he can buy items that costs cookies. As well as a player who has dollars (another currency) he can buy items that costs dollars. The shops would both work in the same world/server, but it would be 2 different currencies. This may sound confusing, but let me know if you need me to get more descriptive.
