ChatMonster
Tired of seeing spam, advertisements, or derogatory words in game? ChatMonster is here to help. ChatMonster offers a variety of features including:
- Completely disable all features with one option
- Configure all options in game
- Auto updating (configurable true/false under the auto-update option. Pretty much explains itself)
- Issue warnings in game
- Advertisements:
- Replace advertisements with your own custom IP or domain (books, signs, and chat)
- Parse all symbols in messages if people are bypassing the filter (applies to the censor filter as well)
- Deter a player from bypassing by showing him/her their unedited message, while hiding it from the rest of the server
- Censor
- Block any amount of words you'd like
- Option to give warnings upon word censorship
- Censor signs, books, and chat
- Custom warning limit
- Custom punishments when a player reaches the warning limit (first offense AND second offense)
- Option to remove or replace censored words with custom text
- Spam Eater
- If a player shouts in caps the message will be turned into all lowercase (applies to messages with over 50% caps)
- Players Who Capitalize The Beginning Of Every Word Can Also Be Set To Lowercase
- If a player repeats the last message they said (up to 65% default similarity but configurable), it will be cancelled
- Set duration to wait before chat isnt considered spam
- Warning system with a custom limit
- Custom punishments

Can you please start making tickets? It does say in the description that tickets should be made if you find a problem. I will still work on the problems you have but as I also said before, I can't work on weekdays. Also, the log does serve a purpose. Everything logged is used by the plugin

Some more things that need working on :)
1. You maybe need a list of domain names included in config like .com and .net etc. for the plugin to compare to, it bans people for using anything with a "." in it, for instance I had a player banned for typing "lol .budder"
2. the log? just does not make any sense, it logs the last thing people say, it only needs to log people who are banned so it makes it easy to see if they typed join my server on blah blah.com or hi .everyone
3. The Spam eater is still a problem and warns everyone that joins the server and says "hi" in chat, so I currently have that turned off..

Posted Sep 9, 2013One little bug is that when players join and say "hello" or "hi" it warns them for spam even though they have not said anything else :)
ok a few more bugs :)
It will not show / in chat so when players say "please join mytown" type "/t join Townsville" it says " t join Townsville"

If you type false into the single quotes at the key censor.replace, the word is removed from the sentence. And lol, I will work on that :P

yeah many say spigot is better however I have burnt my hands with it before.. reverted to cb and voila, it was fine again. I have a 50 slot server with huge traffic in/out over 8000 registrations in 2 months, and works well..so its not about what you know about servers its what works best in practice..

Bukkit is ok on $10 servers with a few of your mates playing, anyone who knows anything about running servers would not use CB, your plugin is exactly what I am looking for , if you can fix the small kick/ban problem it would be excellent :)

The reason for the error is Spigot blocks that call from being fired, protecting your server. Schedule a sync task and do the kicking there :)

Its all configured to let you do exactly what you want.
You can set the limit to 0 (or more likely 1) for no tolerance. As for instant banning, you can configure the punishment.
What build of bukkit are you using? this is for 1.6.2. I tested it earlier today, and it worked just fine. However, if you are using 1.6.2, please fill out a ticket.

I am getting Error: Asynchronous player kick! It wont kick or ban people...
Also could you please remove the warning system, advertisers need to be banned not given warning to try and get around the filters or make it so that when the warnings are turned off it goes straight to punishment..
