The Building Game plugin was requested by a friend of mine, and I started porgramming it. Now I want to share this plugin to play with your friends!
Description
The Building Game is a game where you have to build the thing the plugin has conceived for you. After that you look at other players buildings and vote on their builds. The player with the highest amount of points wins.

Stats Collection
This plugin utilizes BtoBastian's plugin metrics system. The following information is collected and sent to bstats.org unless opted out:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- Plugin's version
- Server software
- Server's version
- OS version/name and architecture
- core count for the CPU
- number of players online
- Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/bStats/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

To add the config options manually just copy this into your folder:
timer: 300
subjects:
- subject1
- subject2
- subject3
For the commands, did you execute the command by the console? 'Cause this won't work. I'll fix that probably today or tomorrow.
Edit: I uploaded a new version which makes use of a new way to implement the default settings. Try doing /bg generatesettings

again clean config.yml and arenas.yml im using latest version spigot and the plugin when i execute a command example: /bg the console send this http://gyazo.com/ba8b589b0ccc48eb26a74e4ddf0e6273

Try to delete the config.yml and restart your server. It should generate a new config.yml and hopefully it'll have the options. If it still doesn't have the options, come back to me and I'll help you with manually adding them (and look into the code to see what's going wrong)

I've searched on the internet for the jar file (which I need to do this), but couldn't find it. If you still have the jar file (that's what you downloaded to make the server), can you give it to me? Than I can compile it with that version.

It seems like you are playing this on 1.7, right? Try to do this on 1.8 and look if the error still persists

I've tried it on my server and it throws me an error as well. I'll be looking into that right now. But it actually has generated the files. Try restarting your server and see if it still gives you an error. If it does, you'll have to make a folder called "BuildingGame" and add two files. The "config.yml" and the "arenas.yml". In the config you can add the timer like this:
timer: <seconds>
And the subjects like this:
subjects:
- subject1
- subject2
- subject3

Posted May 28, 2015Hey for some reason I can't get this plugin to work or generate a "BuildingGame" folder for 1.8.3 or 1.8.5. I really want to get around to making a video tutorial for this awesome minigame. Btw, there is no error in the config.

You have waited way too long on this update.
But now it's finally here!
Download the newest 0.4.0 Beta file and add your timers to automatically stop the game.
And because you have waited so long I've also added subjects for the builds.
