BOSEconomy
This plugin is no longer supported.
I have not updated this plugin in over a year, I barely even play Minecraft anymore, I've gotten a full-time job, and nobody else on the team is interested in developing it either. It's time to put it to rest. With the release of name changing in Minecraft 1.8, this plugin is no longer functional. Please do not use it anymore. The code is mediocre at best, and was written by a college student with no real-world programming experience. You really shouldn't want the source code. If somebody comes up with a script to convert BOSEconomy files to work with a different economy plugin, let me know via PM and I can include it on this page.
Thanks for the support I got while it lasted, and sorry for going silent and letting everyone down.

BOSEconomy is a simple, lightweight economy plugin. Every player owns an amount of currency and can make simple payments between one another. Read below to see all of the available features.
BOSEconomy stands for "Brotherhood of Slaughter Economy". The plugin was originally designed for our community's Minecraft server.
Features:
- Simplicity: install and go setup. Place the plugin in your folder and modify the files.
- Flexibility: Robust system able to accommodate the simplest of economy setups or the most complex economic setups to date.
- Reliability: Works with almost every Bukkit update without any need to update our plugin. ( no long waits for plugin fixes upon new Bukkit release )
- Standard: One of the leading Economy plugins. Backed by plugin API's such as Vault and Register. This means any plugin that uses vault or register as its backbone will make our plugin work with it without any need to change either persons code.
- Scalability: Control the functions of your econ based off of the size of your server base. With in game commands to modify almost every aspect of the plugin there is nothing you cant control.
- Ingenuity: Procedures put in place that provide the server owner with the "Sky is the limit" mindset. With options and controls to almost every aspect of the plugin there are hundreds of ways to make an econ system.
- Dependable: This plugin is constantly monitored and maintained. One of the most annoying factors to server owners is when a plugin loses support because of the owners disinterest in Minecraft. That will not occur with this as my communities server is very popular and proves to be a cornerstone for our gaming needs.

Posted Mar 26, 2012This is probably a strange question, but I didn't see it in the docs: Are there bracket types other than "wage"?
Also, this is probably a nitpick, but I kind of wish the advanced guide wasn't videos. When you're searching for specific information, having a searchable document is really so much better than sitting through videos :/

Make sure you know how bracket exclusion works. The "default" bracket is set to be excluded when you first run the plugin such that one-time randoms who join and leave your server don't dilute your stats. Players in excluded brackets are not factored into top5 and stats. If you have regular players in the default bracket, you can unexclude it with the admin command "/econ bracket set default excluded false". Alternately, if you have a whitelisting process of some sort, you can make a new bracket and move them to it manually when you accept them into your server. New brackets are not automatically excluded.

Plugin still works, you missed the part where "In the brackets file there is an exclude option, set this to true to exclude these people from your top5 and stats information. This is on by default because we make people join default bracket by default and you would not want to be keeping track of somebody who just logs on and then leaves. This is also handy for your admins."
Hope that helps, just check your bracket and set the exclude option to false.

Posted Mar 15, 2012Any idea why /econ top5 and /econ stats dont give any results? Top5 shows nothing and stats say everything is at 0. The plugin works fine otherwise.

Yes, it works with all new builds. Unlike many other econ systems this one is coded to work unless major code changes take place with bukkit.
@deleted_8428497
obviously.
@VexFallstar
This is something we have added to 7.4, 7.3 does not offer this. We had originally planned to have 7.4 out by now but some of the permissions systems have given us massive errors. We also have to rework some of the design features to ensure 7.5 with sql support will work. So... we are working to get 7.4 out as soon as possible.

Posted Mar 12, 2012I'm scrolling through the pages of questions but haven't yet seen the one I wish to ask.
Is it possible for me to simply put a group I've defined in my permissions into a bracket, for BOSE to populate the members, or is it possible for me to have a permission that I put into the group which would then tell bose to pull all in that group into the bracket?
Thanks!
