The damage value has to be greater than 3, also known as 1.5 hearts of damage, or a fully charged bow shot.

Yea, that's possible! The plugin shouldn't cause any server lag, though! It's just an Effect, meaning that it is handled mostly on the player's side.

Posted Jan 23, 2013Would it be possible to add a configurable timer to the blood drops so that they despawn shortly after appearing? For example, blood can pop out and disappear after one second, to avoid confusion that there's actually redstone dust on the ground and to reduce server lag.

Care to offer up any details on why it won't work, anything happening. Keep in mind that it takes a certain amount of damage to create the blood (i.e. an axe, sword, or a full power bow).

Yeah me too. My players like the blood but hate the sound. How about no sound at all besides the default minecraft hitting/slashing sound?
