NOTICE
For updated files, please use the BattleArena2 page. It has all of our updated files, and many of the issues that exist in the latest version here have been fixed through updates.
Default Competitions (all changeable)
- Arena: Fight with what is given to you in the config. You can't bring items in or out
- Skirmish: Bring in what you want to fight with, you take out whatever you pick up
- Battlegrounds: Winner is the highest kills after 1 minute. 4 teams may compete
- Colosseum: 4 teams against each other, last man standing wins
- FFA: last player/team left standing wins
- deathmatch: 2 minute event where if you die you respawn. Highest kills wins
Tournaments
- tourney: Pick a match type and do a single elimination tournament of that type.

They should, I don't override most things unless you specify.
Once I finish all the features that will be in all games, I'll be starting to make more game types.

Hmm, based on permissions eh... I like that idea. But, I'm not sure what to do when people have multiple class permissions...
Give me some more details and a solution and it should be easy.

It's not really 1 waitroom per arena, that is now fixed in the documentation.
Once I get the foundations of BattleArena to have all of the features I want I'll be moving to more game creations, Hunger games will be among those :)

It's whatever game you want. Check the BattleArena/competitions folder.

They should just be able to click on the next sign, as long as they havent "used" their items it should switch them. If it doesn't then pastebin me your classes file and tell me which ones you can't switch between and I'll fix.

Posted Apr 29, 2013Still looking out for a version that automatically sets the class based on permissions without adding any items or anything. Have a full pvp server and players get their own gear. Just need something to control battles.

Try making some investagion before posting, 10 comments below moreless i expained so. Look for it its using the readyblock, add longer waitroom time or simply put signs inside the arena

Can you possibly add a way for us to add lore to items in https://github.com/alkarinv/BattleArena/blob/master/src/mc/alk/arena/util/InventoryUtil.java ?
Such as
- stone_sword: sharp:1 1 lore:"Epic Sword of Doom;&6Elite Item&5"
I have some custom plugins which use lore to track items with special effects, and it would be cool if I could give these out as items for arenas!

I recall you mentioned there'd be a version update this weekend for WaitRoom support in Queue matches.
Would it be at all possible to include another small feature with the update?
It'd be great if we could specify higher enchantment levels in the config than the normal defaults.
Eg, normally the SHARPNESS enchant has a max level of 5.
It'd be great to be able to give people a piece of paper with sharpness 50, so they can go around giving people fatal paper-cuts :) Or to give people a cookie with knockback 20 like on the CookieSlap server.
We can already specify enchants for items that are given through giveItems or items that are included in classes, it'd be great if there was no limit (or an upper limit of like 1000) so we could do something like:

is not a file is a command, /a alter {arena} nteams 2-8. if arena.join.battleground doesnt works user arena.join.bg even dough arena.join should let them joinanything
