I don't quite understand what you mean. You just run Alias alongside BanHammer and then enable Alias integration. Everything else should work.

Alias however will not work with offline servers. This is because anyone can login with any name and makes the protection pointless in the first place.

I have banhammer 2.3.1 and alias 1.4.2 shaded but I don't know of alias make a map in my plugin folder and it doesn't by me and a when I banned someone can he with another acount on the server. Do you know a way to fix this? And I have also but is to true in the config of banhammer

Hey, For some reason "Player" my lowest rank on my server can /ban even though they have not been given permission to do so they can't do anything else just ban. plz help! urgent! I've given Moderators (first staff rank) most of the permissions and other higher ranks inheriting off of this rank. just though that might have something to do with it. thanks - Trigger *URGENT*

EDIT: fixed the problem i was misreading the permissions :D thanks for the great problem free plugin ;D

The reason for this not working has been found and fixed. It will be added in the next update.

This is a bug I am working on, but it is difficult for me to reproduce. In database.yml put the full path of where you want your database to be saved to. That will get around the bug. For example

database: url: jdbc:sqlite:c:/minecraft/plugins/BanHammer/Banhammer.db

It would be nice if we could be able to use Characters in our ban reasons (Dashes, periods, commas, quotes, brackets, colons, & signs, # signs, etc.). Also, if there's a way to do a ban list on my website and stuff then that would be great.

That is very strange. You get no error and occasionally an error with the same build depending on what version of MCPC+ you use? I am not sure how to go about debugging that.

Could you try this beta build and see if it fixes the issue? I changed how the path is calculated in my support program which fixed the issue when I was testing:

Getting the same exact same error as SnyTe (except string index of 61) when using MCPC+ (forge 953 build 180) on Windows. Server is currently running an older build (156) on linux and BanHammer 2.3.1 with no errors at all.

Using MCPC+ build 156, I did not get any errors when using the BanHammer 2.3.1 which you posted here. However, using the same BanHammer build with the latest MCPC+, this error appears. I also tested with a few older builds with the same result or some strange localisation error.

Whenever I try to ban or kick someone this keeps happening.. I'm using the args..

Apparantly the issue seems windows related

My test server runs on windows and has issues, my actual server runs on linux and has no issues, else is pretty much a clone.

That is a different bug. Did it only happen after you upgraded?

I am using the current build that is uploaded here without issues on the dev build of bukkit. What problems are people having?

Same here and unfortunately no recent dev builds on the repository.

hopefully James (grandwazir) is aware of the issue and will provide us with a new release, though I suspect he may be quite busy at the moment, so hope for an easy fix. :)
