What steps will reproduce the problem?
    1. Place a torch and lever in the required setup, above some form of mechanism, such as a door. (Illustrated in included screenshot)
    2. Toggle the lever to verify that the mechanism works.
    3. Right click the torch, and notice the lever's position changing, but the mechanism is not working.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is for a torch-lever to function the same as a manual lever. However, when using a torch lever, redstone current is not outputted in the same way. This is seen in the fact that a lever above a door will toggle the door, but the torch that triggers the same lever will not toggle the door. There are some directional outputs missing.

Mmmm, I am aware of this issue, it may be something hardcoded into Minecraft itself, to do with powered blocks, not sure if I can fix it, but I will try. :D
