Backpacks
Backpacks
What is it?
Backpacks is a plugin that provides each player with a backpack in which they can store items. You can configure how much space each player's backpack has, as well as other aspects of the backpack, using permissions (see below). I have recently added SQL support that enables the backpacks to work cross-server if you use servers linked by bungeecord, lilypad etc. A recent addition to the plugin is that if a player with a backpack has a full inventory and they pickup an item, it goes into their backpack.
Permissions
backpack.1 Sets the backpack to the size: 9x1
backpack.2 Sets the backpack to the size: 9x2
backpack.3 Sets the backpack to the size: 9x3
backpack.4 Sets the backpack to the size: 9x4
backpack.5 Sets the backpack to the size: 9x5
backpack.6 Sets the backpack to the size: 9x6
backpack.keepOnDeath Allows players to bypass the config value for dropping items on death.
Commands
User Commands
/backpack Opens the backpack you have permission for!
Admin (OP) Commands
/backpack [Player name] Opens a player's backpack.
Configuration
Drop-On-Death
If this is set to true the content of the players backpack will drop on death. If the player had the permission 'backpack.keepOnDeath', this would not affect them.
Title
This is the title on the top of each backpack. On the example backpack it is "Your Backpack". You can set a title for each size of backpack (1 to 6).
DisabledWorlds
Here you can define the worlds in which players cannot open their backpacks incase you have, for example, a creative world.

Posted Feb 23, 2014another issue we have, and maybe its fixed in the new version...
We are getting reports that items placed in a backpack come out as a dirt block.
I understand that items from other plugins will vanish in the backpack, for example we use PearlXP, and I fully understand why the pearls come back out as grass.
the issue we are seeing is native Minecraft items turning into grass blocks. If you place a tool with an enchant on it, it turns into grass. I am never able to simulate this event no matter what tool or enchantment type, but I have had 5 other players tell me that they had just a simple UnbreakingII on a Diamond pick and now its grass block.

Posted Feb 23, 2014heres a glitch i found, but im not using the new version u just released, so Ill have to test. this glitch only exists for OP's, so as they are trusted, the glitch doesnt get exploited.
Player1 puts items in their backpack. Admin uses /backpack player1. Admin is able to take the items out of the players backpack, however, it doesnt remove them from the players backpack, it duplicates them instead to the Admin.
Not a major issue since we trust those who r OP to not dup items, but, as an OP we cannot remove items from a players backpack, so thats a problem.

Posted Feb 21, 2014Alright guys, I have looked at all the errors, and fixed them all and taken as many suggestions as I could see into mind.
I have now fixed many bugs including a possible duplication glitch. Taking thejackstur's suggestion into mind, I have now added the permission 'backpack.keepOnDeath' - This allows players to bypass the config value for dropping items on death.
As soon as this plugin as been confirmed on bukkitdev, enjoy :D
P.S. Before you come back crying saying none of the new stuff works, make sure backpacks v3.6 has been accepted AND that you are using it.

Posted Feb 2, 2014There is an error, if someone with, for exampe, 9*4 slots of backpack puts items in the last row and then he is demoted to another rank with 9*3 slots of backpack, those items aren't lost, because if he is promoted again they will be there, but, until then, he won't take them. If you are using Essentials Group Manager then that is most likely the problem.
@sinelael
Deactivate MCStats from the MCStats config :p

Works perfectly well on my home server, check that you don't have multiple permission plugins.

If the person is op he will automatically get the largest backpack, check that first.
