GUILDS
Guilds is a fully customisable RPG plugin that allows you to create Guilds with distinct advantages and disadvantages over other players and Guilds. You can increase or decrease attack and damage or even enable special abilities. Suitable and customisable for multi world servers.
Guild Configuration
Each guild is fully customisable and allows for millions of different variations. There are 57 Proficiency Types, Item Restrictions/Limitations, Active Worlds, Active Biomes and Home Bases. A player can only be in one Guild at any one time.

Settings
Settings allow you to control the wider aspects of the Guilds plugin, to enable or disable various features and to customise the look of the plugin in the players chat box. A list of settings in the settings.yml file click here.

TagAPI Plugin
Guilds, since v2.2.4, now has features that require the TagAPI Plugin. In order to change the display name above players heads you need to download this small plugin. Download here.

I have tested this plugin with a multi world plugin (MultiWorld). I will need to test with multiverse but feel free to post any errors in the log if you find any. I hope I have ironed most of them out now.

Have you had any problems using MULTIVERSE and GUILDS together? @idrum69 was saying the plugins conflict..I dont know how my server could function without multiverse lol

you saved me time.
I am sure this plugin is very nice though. looks it.
also factions is very buggy and over-rated. so I enjoy seeing new guild typed plugins.

Posted Dec 27, 2012Cool plugin you have here, I find it A LOT better than the factions plugin, less noisy, less buggy. However, anyone using MULTIVERSE, you CANNOT use this plugin, you can only use one or the other! It conflicts with multiverse and somehow disabled all of the permissions of multiverse. Nice job avo, keep it up!

I have just tested Guilds with both bPermissions and GroupManager and I have experienced no problems. What I suggest you do is run the server, then put Guilds in the plugins folder then do a /reload.
As I said before Guilds does not do anything with the permissions API so should not effect any permissions plugins and I have not experienced any problems. If after you have tried the above and you still have problems, get back to me and we will see if we can resolve what ever is going on.

Posted Dec 23, 2012Hey I have an idea, How about sub rankings in a guild, and economy is an option setting for it too? Also im having a problem with guilds, any time I try to change the guilds.yml It reverts to the original one. Please help fix? Also as that person mentioned bellow guilds is overwriting our worldguards pvp flag. Please fix this I really want to use this plugin but cant because of a simple overwriting error as that

Thank you for all your feedback. Testing is a long process and there are always some bugs missed out as I cannot test the plugin with all 5,400 other plugins on bukkit so I will endeavour to resolve any issues that are reported.

I write custom versions for servers can can add a default Guild if that is what you wish... If you go to the curse website and find Guilds through there the donate button is on that...

I have the same problem too. Only with bPermissions.
Whenever I change a player's group with bPermissions, it will always revert upon reload. I found guilds to be the cause, for some reason.

Posted Dec 22, 2012Yes, this is exactly what I've been waiting for, I want to split up my server into 2 guilds by my rules! Also the traits idea is cool but the abilities seem a little to much, Abilities is cool but it should be more chance than permanently on forever. I have class restrictions on my players so not all of them can use a bow or etc. Also I still want the guilds to be able to attack there own guild-mates. I wanted something where guilds actually affected the server's game-play not just 100's of small player "so" called guilds. (sorry if i'm saying stuff you already have answered in your details =P)
But I really like this idea, So before tonight it will most likely be on my server :D Thanks for being awesome!
