Prevent username stealing:
AuthMe Reloaded prevents players who aren't logged in from actions like placing blocks, moving, typing commands or seeing the inventory of the current player.
Anti-Spoof:
The possibility to set up name spoof protection kicks players with uncommon long or short player names before they could actually join.
Sessions:
Login Sessions make it possible that you don't have to login within a given time period.
Configurable:
Each command and every setting can be enabled or disabled by a easy structured config file.
Translatable:
If you don't like English or don't like our default translations you can easily edit almost every message sent by the plugin!

Posted Mar 31, 2012I am not trying to be rude or anything and sorry if I offend anyone but all depends on how good you can configure any plugins and how you manage your server.
I have used AuthMe from 2.5.1 and I have had no inventory problems with this plugin.
AuthMe plugin has been downloaded around 100 000 copies and only 100 people (exaggeration) are "claiming" that they loose inventory.
Unless you can provide a 100% legit reproducible situation where AuthMe deletes players inventory, we will count your "claim" insignificant.
We would happily fix any problems related to inventory losses when you tell us the cause/situation.

Over 100+ players screaming in chat that their inventories got reseted after reconnecting is a good proof, dont you think ? BTW: After restoring the old v2.6.3b1 for 3 hours, we had ZERO inv wipped. :\
As I said, I appreciate your work, but all these bugs are ruining many servers.

authme source of whoami is public, take it and just modify it. i known at least 4 bugs for that version give me your server i will give to all players free armor :D, but the main whoami core is still in reloaded but i remove all the exploit that u can see on youtube and iam sure that most of your players use :D without that u knonw it.
and last thing, have u tested ( personally ) when and what kind situation wip your inventory ?

lol nothing is changed form b1 to inventories managment i have repeat it 1000 times :D
and in i.t could not be possible that an event happen sometimes :) or happen every time or dont happen, so reproduce it and check what is the causes of that :)

I'm sorry darkwarriors, but every single update the plugin is getting more buggy and broken. I'd love to see the original and UNTOUCHED version from whoami2 just compiled to run on 1.2.4
I really appreciatte your work darkwarriors, but an AUTH plugin is a CRUCIAL system on servers like over 900+ players like mine and many others. I had to rollback to v2.6.3b1 and the wiping INV bug went away, But I Really, i REALLY would love and even PAY for a whoami2 version without any code from you.
After you took over the project, we had alot of critical bugs, like ppl stealing other players (including OP) accounts, performance problems, inventory reseting, and so on..
It seems you are focusing on new features instead of fixing the broken/buggy parts of the plugin.
It's pretty sad depends on AuthMe (reloaded) to keep my server running, I hate it.

another time.. never related to AuthMe, 50+ players on my server from 1 years of activity nobody have a inventory wipped. Check that d4rkwarriors, is different form D4rkwarriors, and use kickall before stop your server, otherwise players lost positions and items.
or better.. reproduce the usses and give it back to me, othewise iam not a Necromancer ;)

the last two bugs are fixed in newest version. Regen config file for see the new correct options.
i will look at damange given and recive when u are unlogged in, i decide to dont touh it, for removing some lags, consider that i cant hook in damage envent only when i need it, but if i will add some checks on that event it was always called and cheked, no metter if u are logged or unlogged in, ( obv if u are logged i pass the event ).

they have to support AuthMe not the contrary ;) , as i said, they have to give back item at quit and not at login or join.

i have just downloaded new version, but want you to know about old bugs. and i hope u fix them now or maybe later, if they are not fixed.
so. i have pvp-pve server and got big problem. if people logoff they just login and dont type the password. while u dont login u can hit anybody around. in pve - u can regen your life, if u dont enter the password.
this is bad prolem for me, because inthis version of bukkit some of my old plugins dont work, which solved this problems.
and if player didnt enter the password and u kill him with essentials cmd /kill they will die and drop exp and money(from other plugin) but they wnt drop items and they will become invisible and still can hit anybody around them.
i used ForceSpawnLocOnJoinEnabled: false because if you use it - then there were 2 more bugs. first - die, then dont ressurect and simple relog, then u will apear in your place where u died. 2 bug - maybe i dont remember it now - u need to enter the game and dont enter the password then wait until u will automaticaly disconnect the login again enter the password and u will appear on spawn. smth like this.
