ArenaPaintball

Table of Contents

Paintball

A Paintball plugin where players can queue and will join a free paintball arena to fight it out with highly damaging snowballs. You can make more than one paintball arena and players will cycle through them. If all arenas are in use, the players are kept in the queue and will join when one opens up.

Installing

Put the ArenaPaintball.jar in your plugins folder, along with BattleArena.jar

Making a paintball arena

/pb create <paintball arena name>
/pb alter <paintball arena name> 2 <- setup a second spawn, you can keep adding them if you want more than 2, like /pb alter <paintball arena name> 3

Joining

/pb join

Permission Node

Players will need the permission node arena.join.paintball

Requirements

BattleArena, Paintball is built around the BattleArena API.
Optional BattleTracker : If you want /pb top, or player ratings

Would there be anyway that when a player gets hit by a paintball they get teleported back to a lobby rather than killing them..

The glitch still exists where players can either use the /back command (I have sorted this bit now) or instead of clicking re-spawn click main menu then re-connect back to the server and it will put you in the game again...

Killing them seems a bit excessive as it has the possibility to disconnect players who click the wrong button by mistake...

I know I have asked this before but it really does need fixing please :)

Why wont it let you? Also have you updated to the most recent BattleArena? there was a bug in some of the previous versions. If you have the latest what error are you getting?

So, that is probably b/c there is one stray spawn that is way far away.

/arena info <arena name>

will list all the spawns. Then just reset the one that is causing the problem

Ok, so what I've done is made an arena, then the following:

Selected the area, then WorldGuarded it
Do /pb create (name)
Stand at red spawn, and do /arena alter (name) 1
Stand at blue spawn, and do /arena alter (name) 2
Reload ArenaPaintball

However, the issue is that whenever players join the game, and after it starts, it seems that they always spawn up high some where (I think position 1 when I selected map), and start outside of the map like that. They just don't spawn where I set them to spawn! Help!

How do you make a join sign or do you HAVE to type /pb join, because I much rather have a sign that people can just click instead of typing /pb join.

Yea im getting pissed because everything i have that is related to battle arena when i try to join it says the arena <arenaname> does not match your join requirements!! Please Help!

The permission to leave is "arena.leave".
