AdminVIP

A admin plugin for bukkit servers. Intended for servers which needs/wants more controll over player commands!

Features

Fully configurable admin/permisson groups and even custom groups of commands!
Different permissions for players in different diemensions!
Fun commands!
- Warning don't give people you don't thrust to 100% any "Griefing" commands!

/lock	Locks the door you're looking at so only you can open it!	NONE
/unlock	Unlocks the door you're looking at if you locked it!	NONE
/sunlock	Unlocks any locked door!	NONE
/stuck	Makes <player> stuck in air!	NONE
/whisper [player] [message]	Whispers [player] [message] with your name (and prefix)	NONE
/reviveitems	Gives you back your items from your previous death!	[ris]
/allowopen	Allow [player] to open the door you're looking at if you have locked it!	[awop] SUGGESTED

Configuration In V1.6.2_1

Example of a config file! (Very case sensitive and space sensitive!)

permissions:
  admin: vip,carpet
  default: ''
permissionsCH:
  carpet: redcarpet
  vip: invisible,invincible,heal,setpermissionclass,killall,seeinventory
players:
  all:
    roban1000:
      permission: ALL
      effect:
        color: aqua
        prefix: '[Creator] '

Breaf explanation: players.all <- The all is the world you want the permissions underneath to take effect in! so for example if your world is called "xxGameMapxx" then if you want the below to effect in the overworld/normal world only then you write instead of all, you write xxGameMapxx. In the nehter: xxGameMapxx_nether and the end xxGameMapxx_the_end

Ask if you got any problems with this. It didn't explain very much!

Hello again,

Check this paste out. I have made some changes to fit your taste, change other_person to the other person you want to be vip. And change the commands for vips: to the commands you want for example copy mine from the example config and add/remove commands...(See command list for commands!). You still got all commands!

Hay sorry to be a nusence but could you give me an example of what i do exactly to add another person like in that "example of a config file" thing it would be a greate help... this is what i got ,could you show me how it would be set out if i added a new person exactly(hope what i said maked sence).

Hello,

Glad it worked! you could make a new admin group like vip and make a command group vip and say in permissions: vip: vip. And then you could put his name under yours and say: dragon1337: vip For example!

also how do i add other people to it like for vip and stuff

No you need to change roban1000 to your name and that will give you all permissions!

Hay im kind a a noob to making servers and adding plugins and i cpied that thing at the top and does that ment to make me able to use those commands coz it didnt unless i did it wrong.

Ola again,

So I don't know why u have DGcraft in default because you haven't specified a command group called DGcraft, but again I recommend you to copy my example and from there change what u need and add. And if DGcraft is the world u should have it in the first all: before the player names, and after players: that is the world the below permission is active in!

So it me again,

I just updated my server to 1.5.1. I also used your adminvip.jar for 1.5.1. Now i get the "you got no permission" text again. But in my opinion, nothing has changed in de config.yml

Here is my configfile:

permissions: admin: vip,carpet default: 'DGcraft' permissionsCH: carpet: redcarpet vip: invisible,invincible,heal,setpermissionclass players: all: damiantje99: ALL

@hellraiser2112 Hello there,

As I can see the problem is that you have admin there, it's not suppose to be there, it's suppose to be in permission: admin. I recomend you to just copy my example and changing "roban1000:" to "hellraiser2112:" without quotes ofc. And from there you can experiment!

im getting a long error but the just of it is [SEVERE] Cannot load plugins\AdminVIP\config.yml org.bukkit.configuration.InvalidConfigurationException: mapping values are not allowed here in "<string>", line 10, colum 17: permission: ALL ^

Elo,

Ok instead of pasting a paste i will just tell you what to do not hard!
1 Copy my example and replace anything in your config!
2 Replace "roban1000: ALL" with "damiantje99: ALL" without quotes!
3 if you want the permissions to be applied in the normal world then above the permissions you should see "all:" replace that with your world name your server is running. And if you want them to applie to the nether type: "<your world name>_nether:" no quotes!, and the end:
"<your world name>_the_end:" no quotes!, and of course if you want them to applie in all worlds type: "all:" without quotes! ;D

Hope it helps! O and also if you don't have notepad++ you could think about getting it it sure makes editing the file alot easier cous you can see if you have made TAB instead of space!
